For the One in Pain
For pain of the body, the heart and the pocket. Read, or press Listen and let it be read to you.

(If you are in danger)
If you are thinking of ending your life, or you are in danger now, call your local emergency number. In the United States, call or text 988. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, call the Samaritans on 116 123. You are not a burden, and asking for help is part of the cure.
Pain comes in more than one kind. The body that will not stop hurting. The grave you stood over. The mind that runs all night. The account that is empty before the month is over. The prayer that feels like talking to a wall. The phone that never rings. The person who wronged you and walked away fine.
This section is for all of it. Each page gives what Allah says to the one in that pain, what the Prophet ﷺ lived and said in it, the words to say over it with their sources, and what to do today. Read one. Or press Listen, close your eyes, and let it be read to you.
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا
Fa-inna ma'al-'usri yusra. Inna ma'al-'usri yusra
So truly, with hardship comes ease. Truly, with hardship comes ease.
Allah said it twice. And He did not say after hardship. He said with it. The ease is already inside the thing you are carrying, waiting to be found.
If you only have a minute
Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say these words at a time of distress. Say them now, slowly.
La ilaha illallahul-'Azimul-Halim. La ilaha illallahu rabbul-'arshil-'azim. La ilaha illallahu rabbus-samawati wa rabbul-ardi wa rabbul-'arshil-karim
There is no god but Allah, the Mighty, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the noble Throne.
Suhayb reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: how wonderful is the affair of the believer. All of it is good. If something good reaches him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. If harm reaches him, he is patient, and that is good for him.

How to read these pages
Every ayah is given in the Uthmani text, checked against api.alquran.cloud, with a plain English rendering checked against Sahih International. Every hadith is given with its reference and the grade sunnah.com shows for it. Only reports graded sahih (authentic) or hasan (good) are used. These pages share and reflect. They are no substitute for a doctor, a counselor or emergency help, and a ruling on your own situation belongs to a scholar you trust.
